Crochet Oreo Bag Free Pattern

ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet

Diameter: 21cm
CIRCLE
CIRCLE #1
ch2 = not counted as a stitch
Rnd 1: Make a magic ring, ch2, 12dc around the ring, sl in first dc. [12dc]
Rnd 2: ch2, 2dc in the same stitch, 2dc in each stitches around, sl in first dc. [24dc]
Rnd 3: ch2, 2dc in the same stitch, 1dc in next, (2dc, 1dc in next) around, sl in first dc. [36dc]
Rnd 4: ch2, 1dc in first 2 stitches, 2dc in next, (1dc in next 2 stitches, 2dc in next) around, sl in the first dc. [48dc]
Rnd 5: ch2, 2dc in the same stitch, 1dc in next 3 stitches, (2dc, 1dc in next 3 stitches) around, sl in first dc. [60dc]
Cut, Including sl, count 5 stitches starting from left to right, add stitch marker in 6th stitch. Make sure that the circle is facing front side before adding stitch marker.
CIRCLE #2
Repeat circle #1 but do not cut because we will use circle #2 to connect with circle #1.
ch18, place both circles facing back to back, sl in the stitch where the stitch marker is placed in circle #1.
SHELL PART
sl again in next stitch in circle #1.
Row 1: ch1, 1hdc in each ch stitches across, sl in next stitch in circle #2, sl again in next. [18hdc]
Row 2: ch1, turn around, 1hdc blo in first 7 stitches, 1hdc (not blo) in next 4 stitches INCLUDING D Ring at the back, 1hdc blo in last 7 stitches, sl in next stitch in circle #1, sl again in next. [18hdc]
Row 3-49: Repeat row 1
Row 50: Repeat row 2 but do not sl again, only 1 sl.
Note: Always count your stitches before moving on to next row because you might miss or add stitches if you do not count.
Cut, Weave yarn ends inside the bag. You should have a total of 9 stitches left in both circles. circle #1 is the front side of the bag.
LOCK STRAP PART
Rnd 1: ch24, 6dc in 3rd ch from the hook, 1dc in each stitches across EXCEPT last stitch, 6dc in last stitch, 1dc in each stitch on the opposite side, sl in first dc. [52dc]
Rnd 2: ch2, 2dc in each of the first 6 stitches, 1dc in next 20 stitches, 2dc in next 6 stitches, 1dc in last 20 stitches, sl in first dc. [64dc]
Rnd 3: ch2, (2dc,1dc in next) for 6x, 1dc in next 20 stitches, (2dc, 1dc in next) for 6x, 1dc in last 20 stitches, sl in first dc. [76dc]
Rnd 4: ch2, (2dc, 1dc in next 2 stitches) for 6x, 1dc in next 20 stitches, (2dc, 1dc in next 2 stitches) for 6x, 1dc in last 20 stitches, sl in first dc. [84dc]
Rnd 5: ch2, (2dc, 1dc in next 3 stitches) for 6x, 1dc in next 20 stitches, (2dc, 1dc in next 3 stitches) for 6x, 1dc in last 20 stitches, sl in first dc. [100dc]
Cut, leave a long yarn tail, insert yan tail in the same space using yarn needle.
At the back of the bag in the first stitch in the left side (do not include 9dc stitches left) count 11 stitches, insert needle in the 12th stitch.
Insert needle in next space in the back of the bag then connect it in next space of lock strap, repeat this until you connect 30 stitches, weave yarn ends inside the bag.
After that, add push lock in the center of the front side of the bag and in the center of lock strap
BAG HANDLE
Leave a long yarn tail
Row 1: ch2, 1sc in 2nd ch from the hook, insert hook in the bottom loop of the 2nd ch (not from the hook) the actual 2nd chain, Pull up a loop, sc.
Row 2: Rotate, insert hook in 2 loops at the back, pull up a loop, sc
Row 3 and up: Repeat row 2 until you reach your desired length of the strap. (I made a total of 31cm)
Once you reach the end, ch1 to secure, leave a long yarn tail, cut.
