Crochet Round Shoulder Bag Free Pattern


MATERIALS
  • Acrylic Yarn or any yarn for 5.0mm hook
  • 4.0mm or 5.0mm hook
  • Medium - Worsted weight yarn
  • Tapestry Needle

CIRCLE
CIRCLE #1
ch3 = 1dc
Rnd 1:     ch3, 11dc in magic ring, sl in the 3rd ch. [12dc]
Rnd 2:     ch3, 1dc in the same stitch, 2dc in every stitches around, sl in the 3rd ch. [24dc]
Rnd 3:     ch3, flip, 1dc in first stitch, 1dc in next 3 stitches, (2dc, 1dc in next for 8x) 2dc, 1dc in last 3 stitches. [34dc]
Rnd 4:     ch3, flip, 1dc in first stitch, 1dc in next 4 stitches, (2dc, 1dc in next 2 stitches for 8x) 2dc, 1dc in last 4 stitches. [44dc]
Rnd 5:     ch3, flip, 1dc in first stitch, 1dc in next 5 stitches, (2dc, 1dc in next 3 stitches for 8x) 2dc, 1dc in last 5 stitches. [54dc]
Rnd 6:     ch3, flip, 1dc in first stitch, 1dc in next 6 stitches, (2dc, 1dc in next 4 stitches for 8x) 2dc, 1dc in last 6 stitches. [64dc]

cut, weave end at the back

CIRCLE #2
Repeat circle #1 but leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Place both circles from front to front. Use long yarn tail from circle #2 and attach both circles using tapestry needle. Once you're done, weave all yarn ends at the back, cut. Bring bag to front.


BAG STRAP
Rnd 1:     Insert hook in the last stitch of Rnd 10 or the 104th stitch, ch3, 1dc in the 3rd chain or the first stitch of Rnd 10.
Rnd 2:     ch3, flip, 1dc in the 3rd chain.
Rnd 3-25:     Repeat Rnd 2 

Repeat the same pattern until you reach 25th Rnd or your desired length of strap. ch1 to secure, cut, leave a long yarn tail. Use yarn tail to attach the strap on the opposite side of the bag using tapestry needle. Don't forget to weave all the excess yarn inside the bag.
